Kaj leaving the band 30 Oct
As stated at the gig at Arena Satelliten a couple of weeks ago, we're very happy to announce that we now celebrate 5 years as a band and still going strong!
But as some may know we sadly must inform you, that from now on it will be without our fellow drummer, Kaj.
2 years ago, we decided to take a step in a new direction.
We decided that we wanted to be something more than just a poppunk-coverband that only played for fun.
To cut it short: We wanted to get serious, but getting serious means spending alot of time focusing on the band and less time focusing on other stuff, like friends, family and even ourselves sometimes.
Obviously, this is not the easiest thing in the world. Especially if you work a full-time job and play in another band aswell on top of all of that.
So, what it comes down to is to decide what the most important things are in life and for Kaj, playing drums for Midnight Pleasure was eventually not amongst them.
Of course we took it quite hard and are very sorry. Especially since we've been on this journey since we took the first small steps. However, we kind of saw it coming and we fully respect his decision and as friends somehow know he made the right choice.

School's Out Festival 12 Jun
Despite the rain, there was some people coming out to Sollentuna and at least the weather was dry when we entered the stage. Because of some miscalculations and misunderstandings, we couldn't play our whole set, but still most of the songs. For example, we played our cover of What Makes You Beautiful live for the first time, and it turned out really great.
Big thanks to those who came out and we'll see you soon again!
